So you want to work in the Oilfield? Before you go there are a few things that you should know:

1. You will work long hours and may have to travel far from home
2. Your work will be physically demanding
3. You will work in hazardous areas & require high quality safety training (usually before you start and ongoing training provided by the company after you are hired).

Still interested? If so, we offer 1 week public training sessions regularly in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.  Our one week session consists of: Standard First Aid & CPR C (Canadian Red Cross), WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems), TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods), Fire Safety and H2S Alive (ENFORM).  These are some of the most commonly requested safety tickets that oil & gas companies require of new & existing employees.

We also help our students transition to employment in the Oil & Gas industries.  We are unable to guarantee employment for you, however, we want to see you succeed! So, at no additional charge we can help you develop a resume (if you don't already have one), and if you have one we can help you update & build it.  We are happy to send your resume to potential employers at no charge as well.
